Much of who I am as a professional and individual has been cultivated through unique settings and experiences. From the Mid-south to the West Coast, my diverse skill set has developed thanks to a career spanning from multiple industries and projects: corporate and private events, museum education and donor relations, non-profit board leadership, volunteer coordination, boutique coffee and retail, project management, and even fashion shows. The list is ever-evolving! At the core of this variety, you will find a genuine and enthusiastic lover of all people, who is excited by new ideas and willing to share expertise with good humor and dedication to making amazing things happen.

April is a woman of great range and her events reflect it -- each one unique and tailored to realize the client's vision, every one a distinct and satisfying experience. Before opening ASE April worked as a public relations director, a communications manager for an Oregon state agency, an account executive in Honolulu and at the London International Fashion Shows. April has been producing events for more than 20 years, delighting audiences far and wide - Chicago, Bombay, Portland, San Francisco, New York, Las Vegas and beyond. From the moment a client first presents an idea straight through until the last piece of flotsam is swept up, April is involved, planning, facilitating, managing, implementing, and designing. 

April lives with her always entertaining husband in SE Portland where she can be found most often preparing for dinner parties, traveling the globe, or digging away in her garden.
